"CAN YOU GUYS HEAR ME?"

So, one of Mylie's favorite things to do is to go work out in the garage with Jeff. She loves it all except when he is doing bagwork, because she thinks the punching bag is too loud. So this afternoon Jeff is working out and Mylie is out there with him. He starts in on the punching bag and in comes Mylie. Jeff, being the wonderful man he is and knowing that I just need 20 minutes of quiet time, tells Mylie he is going to get her something to put on her ears so it won't be loud. Off he goes to get his ear protection that he wears to the gun range and Mylie puts it on and is very content to stay out with Daddy. Well in the house they come a bit later and there is no way Mylie is taking off her "earmuffs. So she keeps walking around yelling, "Can you guys hear me?" Jeff and I are laughing so hard, because she thinks that we can't hear now either because she has "earmuffs" on. I think one of the greatest things about little kids is that everyday there is something so funny to laugh at!

That's so funny! It reminds me of when my kids would simply close their eyes during hide-and-seek--they couldn't see anything, so how could anyone else? Kids are great!
