14 months

Wow, 14 months already? On Friday Blake turned 14 months old, he is such a joy and a turd at the same time. Lately he:

• Has learned to climb. We have 3 ottomans in our living room and they are strategically blocking things I don't want him to get into. The other day he climbed up on one, then immediately looked at me with a very mischievous grin.
• Loves bananas. He has one with his breakfast every morning and he starts squealing and bouncing up and down in his high chair when he sees it.
• His favorite word is Momma. He says it all the time ... and I love it!
• Likes to wrestle Daddy. If Jeff sits or lays on the floor, Blake is all over him.
• Loves to read books. It is so cute.
• Is still a snuggler, he loves to lay his head on my chest and snuggle.
• Is starting to walk pretty fast. He still has the toddler (Frankenstein-like) walk, but he is getting fast!
• Likes cooking utensils. His favorite is the potato masher.
• Is a great sleeper. He goes to bed by 7 and sleeps until 8. He takes a long nap too.
• Still prefers a bottle over a sippy cup. Mylie was totally done with a bottle by 11 months. Not this guy!
• Is crazy ticklish, especially his chubby little thighs.
• Loves nursery. (Jeff and I are the new nursery leaders so he gets to go with us and he loves it!)
• Loves playing with Mylie, they are the best of buds.
• Is such a happy, content little dude. We are so blessed to have him as a part of our family.
